This is exemplified in the industrial sector with the Quantum™ ‘smart sensor’ we developed for measuring yarn quality. The device was well-named as it provided a Quantum leap in performance for our client and took advantage of advanced electronics technologies such as DSPs and custom developed silicon (ASIC) to radically improve performance and reduce unit costs.
